A Ruba Payout Account is a recipient arrangement used to move approved Available Balance to a verified bank account. It is not a general-purpose bank account and does not provide an independent right to process payments. A valid Payout Account is required before Ruba enables live payment collection for a Seller. Connect a Payout Account

1

Open the payout-account surface

Go to Payouts → Payout account and choose Continue with account setup.
2

Choose the legal country

Individuals use their country of residence. Businesses use the country in which the entity is legally established and tax resident, as the onboarding flow requires.
3

Complete hosted verification

Provide the identity, entity, ownership, tax, and bank information requested in the hosted onboarding flow and accept the terms presented there.
4

Wait for approval

Passing one verification step does not guarantee approval. Ruba enables payouts only after the full configuration is approved.
The person or entity identified during onboarding is the intended recipient of approved payouts. The Payout Account remains part of Ruba’s payout configuration; it is not a payment-processing account supplied for the recipient’s independent use.

Reuse and management

Where the dashboard permits it, one approved Payout Account may be linked to more than one Ruba organization controlled by the same recipient. Each organization has one active payout destination at a time. Payouts → Payout account → Manage payout accounts may allow you to open the provider-hosted account surface, select an approved account, add another configuration, or delete an unused account. Availability of each action depends on account status, pending payouts, balances, and provider requirements.

Country and currency requirements

The bank-account country, recipient country, legal identity, and settlement currency must satisfy the requirements shown during onboarding. Ruba cannot override a provider, bank, legal, or network restriction. Virtual or intermediary bank accounts work only where the approved payout configuration accepts them. See Country Availability before relying on a particular payout route.
