Ruba sends withdrawable earnings to a payout account backed by Stripe Connect Express. That connected account then deposits funds into the verified bank account. A valid payout account is required before live payment collection is enabled, preventing Ruba from collecting money that cannot be settled to you.

Connecting a Payout Account

1

Open the account surface

Go to Finance → Account and choose Continue with account setup.
2

Choose the legal country

Individuals use their residence. Businesses use the country where the entity is tax resident.
3

Complete Stripe onboarding

Provide identity, entity, and bank details on Stripe’s hosted flow.
4

Wait for confirmation

After Stripe confirms the account, Ruba can route payouts to it.
The person completing onboarding owns the underlying Stripe account and is the legal recipient of its funds.

Reusing a Payout Account Across Organizations

One payout account may receive earnings from several Ruba organizations. On another organization’s Finance page, select the existing account instead of repeating onboarding. Each organization has one active account at a time. Switching the active selection changes where its next payout goes.

Managing Your Account

Finance → Account → Manage payout accounts provides four actions:
  • Open in Stripe to change bank or business information;
  • Make Active to select another account you own;
  • Add Payout Account to onboard another legal country/account; and
  • Delete when the account is unused, unlinked, has no pending payout, and its Stripe balance is zero.

Country and Currency Requirements

Stripe requires the bank account country to match the individual residence or entity registration and normally requires the corresponding local currency. Ruba cannot override this banking rule. A virtual account from Wise, Payoneer, Revolut, or another provider works only when Stripe accepts it as a real domestic account in the correct country and currency. If the country is absent from onboarding, Ruba cannot currently pay out there; consult payout availability.
