Organization membership is managed under Settings → Members. One user may belong to several organizations and hold a different role in each.

Roles

Admin and Owner have the same permissions. Owner is a continuity rule: every organization must have exactly one.

Inviting a member

Choose Invite, enter the email, and send. A recipient without a Ruba account creates one while accepting. New collaborators begin as Member; inviting an address already present simply reveals the existing membership.

Adjusting a member’s role

An Admin or Owner can open the member row, choose Change role, and switch between Member and Admin. The Owner cannot be changed through this menu. Ownership transfer requires another existing member who has completed identity verification. Contact support to request the transfer; the previous owner becomes an Admin.

Removing a member

An Admin or Owner can remove another non-owner member. Access to this organization ends immediately, while the user account and membership in other organizations remain.

Leaving an organization

A user may leave from their own member-row menu unless they are the Owner or the only remaining member. Resolve ownership or add another member first.

Decisions and edge cases

No. Account creation is part of accepting the invitation.
Yes. The dashboard organization picker switches between them.
Not directly. Transfer ownership to a verified member first, then manage the previous owner as an Admin.
