Leaving Ruba requires a support-assisted offboarding plan. It is not a self-service export of raw payment credentials.

What Ruba will evaluate

Ruba will review the Seller’s identity and authority, active subscriptions, open refunds and disputes, Seller Balance, Reserves, negative balances, legal holds, destination-provider requirements, and applicable payment-network and data-security rules. Ruba may coordinate a provider-to-provider transfer of eligible customer or saved-payment information where the relevant providers permit it. Ruba does not provide raw payment credentials to the Seller. A destination provider may require customers to enter payment information again. Products, prices, discounts, deliverables, integrations, and subscriptions may need to be recreated at the destination. Ruba does not guarantee a customized configuration export or uninterrupted migration.

During offboarding

Ruba may disable new checkouts, continue or stop renewals, restrict account changes, pause payouts, or require other measures appropriate to the migration and remaining risk. The exact sequence is confirmed in the written offboarding plan. Do not leave matching subscriptions active at two providers. Doing so can cause duplicate charges and extend Ruba’s exposure to refunds, Chargebacks, and other liabilities.

Remaining balances and Reserves

There is no automatic 120-day release promise. Ruba may maintain a Reserve for the period it reasonably determines is necessary to cover active subscriptions, refund and Chargeback windows, fraud, taxes, legal holds, and known or reasonably anticipated liabilities under the Seller Services Agreement. After applicable deductions, setoff, Reserves, and payout requirements are satisfied, Ruba will make any remaining Available Balance available for payout.

Costs, timing, and records

Migration timing and any applicable cost depend on the destination, requested work, provider requirements, and written arrangement with Ruba. Ruba will disclose any Ruba migration charge before it applies; provider costs may be passed through where the Seller Services Agreement permits. Ruba retains and deletes records according to the Seller Services Agreement, Privacy Notice, applicable Data Processing Addendum, and applicable law. Historical records may remain available for a limited period during offboarding, but continued dashboard access is not guaranteed.
