The Early Access Fee Schedule applies to Sellers Ruba approves for Early Access unless the Seller Account or a written pricing agreement states otherwise. An application or invitation does not guarantee approval, live processing, or availability in a particular country.

Start with one platform fee

Ruba charges 5% + $0.50 for each successful Transaction. A successful subscription Transaction adds a 0.5% subscription surcharge. Ruba does not charge an Early Access monthly platform fee or require a minimum sales volume. For a one-time Product priced at 29beforeTransactionTaxes,theRubaFeeis29 before Transaction Taxes, the Ruba Fee is 1.95 and the resulting Seller Balance is 27.05beforeanyapplicablepassthroughcost.ForasubscriptionTransactionatthesameprice,thesurchargeis27.05 before any applicable pass-through cost. For a subscription Transaction at the same price, the surcharge is 0.15 after currency rounding, making the total Ruba Fee 2.10andtheresultingSellerBalance2.10 and the resulting Seller Balance 26.90 before any applicable pass-through cost.

Costs that apply only when incurred

An international payment, currency conversion, payout account, cross-border transfer, payout, refund, Chargeback, Chargeback-prevention service, or similar event may create a third-party cost. Ruba may deduct the amount it actually incurs without adding a Ruba margin. The amount appears in the Seller ledger or account record. A Chargeback therefore does not have one fixed Ruba fee. The Seller bears the actual Chargeback and related provider costs incurred for that case, subject to the Seller Services Agreement and applicable law.

Refund treatment

Full and partial refunds are supported. The original Ruba Fee and payment costs remain deducted because the completed Transaction services have already been provided. If the refund itself creates a third-party cost, Ruba may pass through the amount actually incurred. Read the refund workflow →

Payout costs

Payout-account, transfer, currency-conversion, and payout costs apply only when incurred. Current amounts are displayed in the Seller Account or ledger and may vary by country, currency, payout route, and provider configuration.

Transaction taxes

For a Transaction Ruba accepts in a jurisdiction where Ruba has activated support, Ruba administers the Transaction Taxes for which it determines it is legally responsible. Sellers remain responsible for their own income, business, employment, property, and similar taxes. The public Fee Schedule, Seller Account, and any written pricing agreement should be read together. A written pricing agreement controls the commercial term it expressly changes.
