## Products and Subscription Entitlements
Product and subscription benefits exist as standalone resources in Ruba, linked to one or many products or subscription tiers.
This model differs somewhat from other platforms, yet it brings several advantages:
* Effortlessly enable the same benefit across multiple products and subscriptions
* Modify a benefit in a single place instead of several
* No duplicated data or effort (which reduces errors)
* A cleaner interface for both you and your customers
**How customers receive benefit access:**
* ✅ Active subscribers of tiers with the benefit enabled
* ✅ Customers who bought a product with the benefit (lifetime access)
* ❌ Subscribers with an expired subscription (cancelled)
* ❌ Users who are not customers
## Building and Managing Benefits
There are two ways to manage benefits:
1. Directly inside a product create or edit form
2. Or through `Benefits` in your dashboard
